Believe Elite Programs

COOP TRAINED powered by Believe Elite

Our program measures movement and joint mobility using a systematic assessment called the Functional Movement Screen. This provides the foundation of our system allowing us to customize training programs to each individual athletes movement profile and training skill level leading to improvements in joint mobility and stability, decreased risk of non-contact injuries and safe, effective strength and power training.

Coach JR (John Rahn)

“Strength training is another weapon in a wrestler’s arsenal, but it must be done right from the start. We want our wrestlers gaining strength & building lean muscle through our seasonal approach. With daily, healthy nutrition and proper recovery, youth athletes should optimize their athletic & physical development. Proper conditioning will ensure a wrestler not only has the endurance to last a match and tournament, but to handle all the training that goes on in preparation to compete.”

Coach Rob Badstein

Certified Functional Movement Specialist

“Wrestlers, and other fighters, are a unique breed of athlete. Combat sports take a significant toll on the body from the trauma and torque they are destined to undertake in trying to take down an opponent. Because of this, a well balanced training program that prioritizes maintaining healthy functioning joints and strengthening functional movement patterns is crucial to keeping them at the top of their game and minimizing their risk of injury.”

Coach Cory Cooperman

Wrestling Instructor

Wrestling is a unique sport. It requires a unique combination of technique, position, strategy and all of those aspects of wrestling, when it boils down to it, you can know everything but if you’re muscles are failing you, you’re not going to be able to execute or stop your opponents executions. Being strong is important in all combat sports but more than strength, we benefit by gaining muscular endurance, injury prevention, explosiveness etc. I’m extremely excited about our partnership with JR and his staff at Believe Elite. My vision is to give my club members a one stop shop. A place where they can get better.”
